Resumo

 

O presente artigo tem a intenção de fazer uma relação entre a leitura do filme " Oléo de Lorenzo" e duas das metodologias aplicadas em Filosofia Clínica, o empirismo e epistemologia, bem como a análise da estrutura de pensamento do casal protagonista do filme, os Odone.O filme nos relata a história real de uma criança diagnosticada com ALD (Adenoleucodistrofia) e a saga dos pais em busca de conhecimento suficiente para ajudar na cura não só do filho, mas de outras tantas crianças que até então não tinham mais do que dois anos de expectativa de vida após o diagnóstico.

Abstract

 

This article intends to make a relationship between reading the movie "Lorenzo's Oil" and two of the methodologies applied in Clinical Philosophy, empiricism and epistemology, as well as analysis of the structure of thought of the protagonist couple, the Odone. The film tells us the true story of a child diagnosed with ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy) and the saga of parents in search of enough knowledge to help in healing not only the child, but many other children who until then had no more than two years of life expectancy after diagnosis.
